More balance. More possibility.
Rolfing is an invitation to move differently, feel more supported, and reconnect with the body you live in.
What is Rolfing?
Rolfing® Structural Integration is a hands-on approach to working with fascia—the connective tissue that surrounds and connects your muscles, bones, and organs.
Over time, injury, repetitive movement, and daily habits can influence how this tissue supports you. Rolfing explores these patterns across your whole body, rather than treating one area in isolation.
Working with gravity, not against it.
When different parts of your body work together more comfortably, standing, breathing, and moving may take less effort. We combine attentive touch with movement exploration to help you find that support.
A conversation with your body.
Your experience matters. We work at a pace and pressure that you can respond to, with room for feedback, pauses, and curiosity. Somatic awareness—sensing your body from within—is part of the process, not an afterthought.

Dr. Ida Rolf and the origins of structural integration.
Rolfing structural integration was created by Dr. Ida Rolf, a Ph.D. in biochemistry. She devoted her life studies to the investigation and creation of the revolutionary concept of working with the connective tissue of the body. Her goal was to evoke more order in the body as it organizes in the gravitational field of the earth.
“This is the gospel of Rolfing: When the body gets working appropriately, the force of gravity can flow through. Then, spontaneously, the body heals itself.”
— Dr. Ida Rolf

Common reasons people seek Rolfing.
Clients come to our Salt Lake City practice for many reasons. A few of the most common:
- Chronic lower back, hip, and SI joint discomfort
- Neck and shoulder tension and forward-head posture from desk and screen time
- Repetitive strain and old injuries that still shape how you move
- Athletic recovery and mobility for runners, skiers, climbers, and dancers
- Shallow breathing, rib and chest tightness, and overall alignment
Rolfing for Salt Lake athletes and active bodies.
Trail runners, skiers and snowboarders, climbers, cyclists, and mountain athletes come to us when repetitive training and old injuries start to shape how they move. Rolfing helps the whole body share the load again.
- Movement efficiency: better organization in gravity can mean less wasted effort in each stride, pedal stroke, or turn.
- Unwinding old compensations: exploring patterns left by ankle sprains, knee and ACL injuries, falls, and shoulder strain.
- Breath and rib mobility: more freedom in the ribs and diaphragm for steep climbs and high elevations.
- Longevity: supporting adaptable tissue and movement so you can keep enjoying the mountains season after season.
